Map of the U.S. by college sports team. Love it.
Excellent cover photo. Does a great job of illustrating the theme of the game, a swarming Alabama defense.
Not in love with the headline, though. Can pretty much write that for any winning team, no?

Porn star Bibi Jones posted on Twitter a couple of video reactions to the exciting Fiesta Bowl victory by her alma mater, Oklahoma State. (Make your own oral-exam joke.) The first one ended with a seemingly unnecessary “Fuck Stanford” dig, but this second one ends with two things much better. Get her a sideline-reporting gig.
Alabama’s new goal post.
This would be funnier if the Crimson Tide didn’t advance to the BCS national championship game without even winning their conference’s division.
Via Anthony Andro on Twitter, the University of Texas band bids adieu to Texas A&M, its longtime rival that’s SEC-bound.

Assisting with the visuals is the lovely Jamie Edmondson.
Thank god they didn’t hire Lee Corso for the shoot.

The Washington Times has a story on the profane anger levied by Penn State fans against a man holding this sign (above) to put abused kids first.
He found almost no support among the Joe Paterno worshippers.
UPDATE: A story in the New York Times completely contradicts what the Washington Times writes. Regarding this exact man, John Matko, a Penn State graduate, the NYT says, “Thousands of ticket-holders passed Matko in the pregame hours. A few stopped to take pictures of him and his sign. One or two shook his hand. No one, he said, addressed him in a derogatory manner.”

Flipped News Van at PSU Riot
I’m in the background screaming for peace and telling these people they’re a fucking disgrace.
But I’m drowned out by idiocy.
What a bunch of dopes. Maybe some of these kids will be identified through video and get kicked out of school.
