Exciting stuff: Atop my Tumblr dashboard was a message saying I was one of a lucky 100 on the service to win a free Olympus PEN E-PM1 Mini ($499) and am being asked post my photos as part of the PEN Ready Project.
Seems Olympus is giving away more than 1,000 such cameras and gathering tons of shots (and featuring the best) as a way to promote its new product.
I registered and got immediate e-mail confirmation, so this seems way legit. Can’t wait to put this thing to the test (but not in pink, please!).
Billed as a point-and-shoot upgrade but compact-ish, the PEN E-PM1 Mini features a CMOS sensor, 12.3 MP, interchangeable lenses, RAW capability and 1080i HD video. Wow, wow, wow.
