Video Reveals NBA 2K12 Player Ratings
A video posted on YouTube has revealed the overall player ratings in NBA 2K12.Some of the notable overall ratings include LeBron James (98 overall), Kobe Bryant (94 overall) and Dirk Nowitzki (85 overall).
Check out the video to view the rest of the ratings. NBA 2K12 is scheduled for release next Tuesday.

NBA 2K12’s Greatest Mode Details Revealed
New details into NBA 2K12’s Greatest mode are out.
In an article released today, 2K Sports revealed not only the 15 legends, but also the full rosters of each legend’s team and their opposition.
In addition, the full rosters for the bonus unlockable teams were also unveiled. New screenshots can also be viewed on the SGS Facebook page.

Rookie Prince Amukamara is one of five defensive backs with a rating of at least 81, while the linebacking corps has no one higher than 80 (Michael Boley).
Eli Manning comes in at 87, and Ahmad Bradshaw leads the running backs at 85.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is one of just four players to be tabbed with a 99 rating in the Madden 12 video game, set for release on Aug. 30. He’s joined by Chargers tight end Antonio Gates, Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu and Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis.
This is the first time in several editions that Peyton Manning doesn’t begin with a 99 rating, which he lost last year during a roster update, when players may have their scores adjusted in-season.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters releases today, and IGN rates it 8/10 in an early review.
The big draw is the addition of Augusta National to the course list. That couldn’t have come cheap for EA Sports. Other game features include advice from caddies, new commentary from Jim Nantz and David Feherty, a career mode that mirrors an amateur’s rise to chase the Masters, and 20 new professional golfers.
I’ve bought a few titles in this franchise over the years, but none since ‘08. They always delivered, so I took advantage of Amazon’s deal, which gave a $25 credit with a pre-order, and eagerly await my copy in the mail.

Tuesday, Oct. 5 is the perfect day for the release of NBA 2K11. None of the four major sports leagues play games that matter, and ESPN is airing a 30 For 30 documentary on the 2004 Red Sox, for those interested in another hour of media devoted to the most covered team of all time. So, my TV is totally free for the night.
Also perfect (or, close enough): the game itself, according to IGN. Its review (with video commentary) falls in love with the whole package, but especially the Michael Jordan Challenge, calling it “one of the most incredible year-over-year improvements of a game imaginable.”
As a Knicks fan, Michael Jordan was never one of my favorite players, and I’m going to hate to have to have to replicate his Double Nickel in the Challenge (I was already there the first time), but I’m definitely excited to check it all out.

NBA Jam East Rosters Revealed, Legends Included
I cannot wait to play NBA Jam, the 2010 version of the classic 2-on-2 basketball arcade game, but am I gonna get a chance? It seems PS3 owners will be able to purchase the game only as part of a downloadable bonus with a new copy of NBA Elite 11.
I’ve been buying the NBA 2K series for years, and this year’s version includes the Michael Jordan Challenge, so it’s gonna be a tough decision come Oct. 5.
